Before You Apply

Review Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet minimum eligibility requirements before submitting the pre-employment application.

Age

Must be 21 years of age, or 20 with an associate degree or 60 credit hours.

Citizenship

Must be a citizen of the United States.

Criminal History

Cannot have been convicted of a felony.

Driver's License

Must have a valid driver's license.

Assignment

Must be willing to accept assignment anywhere in Illinois.

Education

Associate Degree or 60 Credits with C average or better from an accredited instituion required. Waived for qualifying military veterans or active law enforcement officers with 3+ years of service.
