Monica Argumedo, M.D.
Monica Argumedo of Park Ridge, Illinois was appointed to the Illinois State Police Merit Board by Governor JB Pritzker in August 2026, with a term ending in March 2030.
Board Member Biography
Monica Argumedo, M.D.
Dr. Monica Argumedo is currently a Forensic Psychiatrist with Park Dietz & Associates. She also founded 1st Response Psychiatry in Park Ridge, where she serves as Medical Director.
Dr. Argumedo also serves on the Illinois Department of Human Services' Forensic Working Group. Previously, she served as a Psychiatrist with Rush University Medical Center.
Dr. Argumedo earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
