Recruitment Cycle Dates
The Illinois State Police Merit Board is accepting Pre-Employment Inquiry Applications on an on-going basis.
The Recruitment Testing months and locations are noted below, as well as, the deadline for an acceptable application to be received in the Merit Board office in order to be invited to that specific testing.

Fitness Pre-Tests
Some time before the Recruitment Test, a Fitness Pre-Test will be conducted by the Illinois State Police Recruitment Section, to provide an opportunity for applicants to prepare for the upcoming Illinois State Police Merit Board testing. The FITNESS PRE-TEST is NOT a MANDATORY event. Please see below or check the home page for announcements regarding the location and dates of upcoming Fitness Pre-Tests.
